2025 Acura MDX Trim Levels
If you're looking for a mid-size crossover that's fun to drive, the new 2025 Acura MDX fits that description handsomely. The MDX comes with three rows and it delivers the kind of agility that helps put the thrill back in driving. Most Acura MDX trims are equipped with a 290-horsepower V6 engine but if you move up to the Type S you'll be in charge of a twin-turbo V6 with 355 horsepower. Here's a closer look at the different trim levels that define the new Acura MDX at Lester Raines Acura in South Charleston, WV.
The Base MDX
The entry-level MDX in our new inventory is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 290 horsepower. It also comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment touch screen display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, plus wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone connectivity. Other features worth highlighting in the Base include 12-way power-adjustable front seats, a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel, a power liftgate, a panoramic moonroof and adaptive cruise control.
MDX with Technology
As you'd expect given the name, the MDX with Technology Package provides more advanced tech systems in the cabin. It comes with power-folding side mirrors, a 12-speaker ELS Studio audio system, three-position passenger seat memory and GPS-linked climate control, a system that tracks the position of the sun and adjusts the temperature accordingly. Other features at this trim level include 20-inch alloy wheels, 27-color interior ambient lighting, 3D-view navigation with Real-Time Traffic information, and Milano perforated leather sport seats.
A-Spec
The A-Spec trim in our new SUV inventory gives Teays Valley, WV drivers Acura's capable Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system, Shark Gray 20-inch alloy wheels, a thick rear anti-roll bar and LED fog lights. The interior has an ebony headliner, heated and ventilated sports seats, a leather-wrapped flat bottom steering wheel and sport pedals. The ELS Studio 3D Premium Audio system will entertain you with 16 speakers.
Advance
The Advance Package comes with a heated steering wheel, heated second-row seats, a hands-free power liftgate and a 10.5-inch head-up display. Other features in the Advance Package include a 360-degree Surround-View camera, remote start, 16-way heated and ventilated front seats with adjustable side bolsters bolsters and thigh extensions. Additional features that Nitro, WV buyers will value at this trim level include open-pore wood trim, roof rails and LED door handle lighting.
Type S
If you're a Huntington, WV driver who's passionate about high performance, the Type S is the MDX trim that's built for you. It comes with a more powerful turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that can deploy 355 horsepower on your behalf. It also comes with adaptive shock dampers and an air suspension system with adjustable ride height. The Integrated Dynamic System adds additional modes for Sport+ and Lift, a mode that can raise the ground clearance by two inches. Other performance features in the Type S include big Brembo front disc brakes with massive 14.3-inch rotors and red 4-piston brake calipers. The Acura MDX Type S rolls on 21-inch wheels with self-sealing tires and it gives Ashland, KY drivers a dynamic exterior touch with active exhaust valves.
Type S with Advance
The Type S with Advance Package sits at the top of the MDX mountain and comes with massaging front seats, heated rear seats, a Surround-View Camera system and a heated steering wheel. It also gives Jackson County buyers the luxury of Orchid leather upholstery and a premium ELS Studio 3D Signature Edition audio system with an amazing 25 speakers.
